Music from Sand

Check out this video from Diego Stocco where he recorded the “frequencies of sand.”

This video really got me thinking. Are we taking time to notice the things around us? Do we even realize that we can make amazing music with just a grain of sand? God put so many things onto this earth for us to enjoy, and I feel that we need to just slow down and look at them. The entire Earth is a musical instrument! It’s amazing to me to see the use of sand here. What else could we use to create something like this? I would love your feedback on this! Just leave your comments down below.

It’s true most of the world doesn’t appreciate what is around them. It is scary that at one point people would use trees, boulders, and rivers as markers and boundaries, now we hardly see what’s past the edge of the pavement. There is so much beauty, so much happening around us that we lose sight of it all. It is a giant universe, but it doesn’t seem like a good enough excuse to let it disappear before we ever knew it was there. Sometimes we are selfish and focus only on what is impacting ourselves. We hardly realize the rain that is all around us, unless there’s a leak. Yet, that weather is amazing, it bring us our food, and for some people, hope. So, what if we don’t slow down, what’s going to happen to our world? Will we stop believing in miracles because they aren’t on our agenda? Or is there a way to get people to notice that butterfly flitting around the yard?
